What you will do

• Lead development of 6-DOF simulation models for fixed-wing and rotary UAVs, integrating aerodynamics and propulsion.
• Perform advanced flying qualities analysis covering stability, controllability, and performance.
• Define and oversee simulation architecture, validation frameworks, and automation pipelines.
• Support aircraft sizing and design to ensure stability and control requirements are met.
• Collaborate with flight test teams to analyze telemetry and refine models using real-world data.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and lead technical reviews of simulation deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in flight dynamics, simulation, or flying qualities analysis.
• Proven track record of leading simulation projects and mentoring technical teams.
• Strong expertise in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing.
• Ability to interpret and apply CFD and wind tunnel data.
