What you will do

• Conduct independent research for Strategy and M&A, including market analyses, competitive landscapes, and target screenings.
• Develop and operate modular, AI-enabled research workflows and scheduled monitoring pipelines to produce regularly updated reports.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate the latest AI tools, models, and agent frameworks into the company's research toolset.
• Translate complex findings into decision-oriented recommendations for senior stakeholders using clear graphical presentations.
• Enable other teams by documenting tools and sharing AI-native methodologies through demos and internal knowledge sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in research, strategy, or consulting, ideally with M&A exposure.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and modern AI research workflows.
• Excellent English skills and German fluency are required.
• Must be located in or able to work from the office in Vienna.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate ambiguous research questions into clear methodologies.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, APIs, web scraping, or workflow automation tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks or RAG-based research systems.
• Industry exposure to Life Sciences, MedTech, or Pharma.
• Experience in target screening and due diligence support.
