Grants Manager

What you will do

• Act as custodian of program documentation and ensure access to relevant records.
• Liaise with donors, respond to compliance queries, and facilitate donor visits.
• Monitor grants for compliance issues and provide training to staff.
• Coordinate proposal and report development, acting as lead writer when needed.
• Support funding opportunity assessments and grants management processes.
• Manage reporting deadlines and contribute to project cycle meetings.

Requirements

• Based in Maiduguri, Nigeria with willingness to travel when required.
• Bachelor's degree in international affairs, development, or related field.
• 2-3 years in grants management, proposal writing, and business development.
• Knowledge of donor regulations (USAID, FCDO, ECHO, etc.).
• Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
