What you will do

• Study and define overlap ROI recipes for camera pairs across various test scenarios and validate using full-FOV references.
• Develop and optimize analysis tools for Siemens Star based sharpness evaluation, including score calculation and result generation.
• Evaluate the correlation between objective sharpness metrics and subjective face sharpness using mannequin-head targets.
• Support the automation of station software workflows for capture, ROI cropping, score generation, and pass/fail decisions.
• Conduct repeatability checks, threshold studies, and debug activities to ensure production-ready robustness.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Science, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
• Solid foundation in Digital Image Processing and familiarity with metrics such as MTF and SFR.
• Understanding of image analysis, coordinate mapping, and ROI-based processing.
• English: Good written and verbal communication skills for a global working environment.
• Location: Must be able to work on-site in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with OpenCV, NumPy, and pandas.
• Understanding of camera/image pipeline basics.
• Experience with scripting, test automation, or software version control (Git).
• Interest in factory validation and measurement systems.
