What you will do

• Develop and implement robust configuration management processes tailored to UAV systems, including baselines and change control procedures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as specifications, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Identify and control configuration items (CIs) throughout the entire lifecycle from design to obsolescence.
• Administer the change control process, evaluate impact of proposed changes, and coordinate approvals.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment between design and production.
• Ensure strict compliance with aerospace and defense regulations, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and MIL-STD-973.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 to 8 years of proven experience in configuration management within the aerospace, defense, or UAV industry.
• In-depth knowledge of configuration management tools such as CMDB, PLM, and PDM.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with industry standards AS9100, ISO 9001, and MIL-STD-973.
• Must be based in or able to work from Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMIIC).
