What you will do

• Design and document end-to-end architecture for MuleSoft RTF on Azure AKS, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Manage the AKS cluster lifecycle, including node pool scaling, version upgrades, and Azure service integration.
• Configure and optimize Ingress Controllers (NGINX, Azure Application Gateway) for traffic management.
• Implement a security-first approach addressing private link integration, mTLS, and pod security policies.
• Establish a robust monitoring and alerting framework using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Standardize secrets management and encryption within the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Requirements

• At least 8+ years of experience in integration or software architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience focused on containerized MuleSoft deployments.
• Deep expertise with Anypoint Platform and Runtime Fabric (RTF) on self-managed Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience deploying and tuning Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters in production.
• Strong understanding of Azure VNet, Subnets, Private Endpoints, and Load Balancers.
• Proficiency in Helm, kubectl, and Docker.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or Integration Architect.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
