The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (hirify.global) is a specialized agency leading international efforts to defeat hunger and improve nutrition and food security.

What you will do

  • Draft, produce, and issue PSUI briefs, web stories, and newsletter editions.
  • Liaise with the Office of Communications (OCC) to ensure compliance with standards and aligned messaging.
  • Provide technical insights into hirify.global's work across various technical divisions regarding Indigenous Peoples.
  • Support the implementation of the hirify.global Policy on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples.
  • Collaborate on seven key pillars including Indigenous food systems, FPIC, and traditional knowledge.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in communication, development studies, environmental science, social sciences, anthropology, or human rights.
  • Bachelor's degree holders must have two additional years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working in more than one location or area of work.
  • Must be able to meet residency or visa requirements for Italy.
