What you will do

• Lead ambitious long-lead storytelling projects that shape global discourse across various issues.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Editor and Global Editorial Director to define future editorial strategies and tentpoles.
• Break major news and provide exclusive scoops through original reporting and deep insider knowledge.
• Represent the brand in media, including video, social franchises, live events, and podcasts.
• Coordinate with global teams to identify and develop stories for international markets (Italy, Spain, France, UK).
• Mentor writers across the team to elevate editorial thinking and story development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience reporting features and writing cultural analysis for major publications.
• Proven expert voice in journalism with a highly established audience and track record of influence.
• Deep and extensive sourcing networks across Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Washington, and Wall Street.
• Ability to craft sophisticated profiles and investigative narrative features.
• Must be based in New York or Los Angeles.
• Cross-market understanding of stories that resonate with audiences outside the US.
