QA Platform Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and own frameworks and guardrails to ensure infrastructure changes are validated consistently from development to production.
• Build and maintain automated validation pipelines to detect drift, regressions, and misconfigurations.
• Design, provision, and maintain dedicated, reproducible test environments on Azure using Terraform.
• Establish standards for infrastructure testing, covering plan validation, policy compliance, and rollback verification.
• Develop and enforce test data management standards, including seeding, masking, and refresh strategies.
• Monitor environment health using observability tooling and contribute to incident management processes.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for managing non-production environments.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including plan/apply workflows.
• Solid understanding of containerization and Kubernetes for isolated, ephemeral test workloads.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Go).
• Must be based in or able to work from Porto/Matosinhos, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Exposure to QA, testing practices, or quality engineering.
• Familiarity with policy-as-code, compliance validation, or infrastructure testing approaches.
