System Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Automate IT systems, configurations, deployments, updates, and processes using workflow platforms and scripting.
• Create workflows and scripts for user provisioning/deprovisioning, access reviews, and policy enforcement.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, analyze, and implement solutions.
• Lead or participate in IT infrastructure projects like migrations, implementations, and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain integrations between IdPs, MDMs, IT platforms, and business systems.
• Monitor systems, resolve issues via automated remediation, and provide expert troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 1+ years in systems automation, administration, engineering, or architecture.
• Basic scripting experience (Python, Bash, JavaScript).
• Experience with IdP platforms (Okta, Entra ID a plus).
• Understanding of SSO, MFA, SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, IAM principles.
• Proven ability to execute large organization-wide IT projects.
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness for technical lead roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow platforms (Okta Workflows, Zapier, N8N).
• Familiarity with SaaS admin and API automation (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Jira, Slack, Jamf, Intune).
