Windchill Engineer (SIE)

Windchill Engineer (SIE): Designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Windchill PLM solutions and integrations for U.S. Department of Defense customers with an accent on application development, data migration, and enterprise integrations. Salary: 130,000 - 160,000 USD per year (United States)

What you will do

• Act as trusted advisor to customer SMEs and end-users.
• Lead solution architecture, development, and implementation on PTC Windchill and ThingWorx platforms.
• Design and develop custom Windchill solutions including action models, workflows, lifecycles, reports, and OIRs.
• Support data migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator, Load From File, and custom scripts.
• Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems for seamless data flow.
• Conduct testing, debug issues, develop documentation, and provide user training.

Requirements

• Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. Citizen
• PTC certifications for Windchill
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years with PTC Windchill PLM & ThingWorx Navigate, including version 12 and ThingWorx 9
• Expertise in data migration with Windchill Bulk Migrator
• Strong SQL scripting and Windchill database schema knowledge
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, HTML5
• Windchill System & Business Administration knowledge including security
• Excellent communication, documentation, problem-solving skills
