What you will do
- Build internal AI agents automating engineering workflows like debugging, root cause analysis, code generation, refactoring, data extraction, validation, and knowledge retrieval.
- Develop agentic pipelines combining tool use, retrieval (RAG), and structured reasoning loops.
- Improve engineering velocity by removing repetitive work across teams.
- Own system reliability: make observable, deterministic, production-safe systems.
- Collaborate with SWE, infra, and ML teams to embed AI into core workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years building production systems
- Strong experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), agentic architectures, tool-use systems, retrieval systems (RAG, search, embeddings).
- Strong Python and backend engineering skills.
- Experience shipping end-to-end features in fast-moving environments.
- Solid engineering judgment: know when to hack vs. build properly; experience with evaluation, iteration, failure modes of LLM systems.
- Ability to design robust systems; think in systems, have product instincts, thrive in ambiguity and speed, high agency, clear communication across teams.
