What you will do

• Lead R&D projects from ideation through prototyping and validation
• Develop firmware in C/C++ for testing new product concepts
• Experiment with edge AI, IoT, GPS, Cellular, BLE, and sensors
• Collaborate with Firmware, Hardware, and Data Science teams
• Support production code development during transitions
• Define success criteria, analyze lab/field data, and decide on project directions
• Own topics autonomously while aligning stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years in embedded firmware development with C/C++
• Strong background in embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, and connectivity
• Python skills for data analysis (pandas, Matplotlib, NumPy)
• Experience bringing R&D prototypes or features to production
• Very good English skills
• Excited to work in Austria

Nice to have

• Research in AI on embedded devices, sensor fusion, or similar
