What you will do

• Implement robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) and SQL to support complex financial data workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate financial requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize data processing for cost-efficiency, latency, and scalability in Azure.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring for data workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Support the migration to the OneBankDAP infrastructure as a key milestone in 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow) and SQL (T-SQL, Spark SQL).
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms and ETL orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
