About the Role
You will scale the People function from 0-1 to 100+ team members and build repeatable people operations. You will own and improve onboarding, define and manage compensation bands with Finance, own benefits and HR tooling implementation, support managers in monthly 1:1s and performance conversations, partner with recruiting to raise hiring standards, and shape headcount planning with leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a People position
- Experience at a company known for extremely high talent density in crypto or high-growth tech/fintech
- Background in people operations including performance management, compensation, and onboarding
- Hands-on, execution-oriented with ability to build and run processes
- Experience coaching managers to grow people and handle performance conversations
- Experience designing development approaches suited to ambitious environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic, collaborative approach
- Crypto experience or genuine curiosity to learn about DeFi
- Located in Europe (remote-friendly)
Responsibilities
- Bring high-performing organization standards to hiring, development, and retention
- Own and improve the onboarding experience
- Support managers in developing people, running monthly 1:1s, and navigating performance conversations
- Design and implement tailored growth and development programs for contributors
- Define and manage compensation bands with Finance
- Own benefits, health insurance, and HR tooling implementation across locations
- Partner with recruiting to improve talent acquisition and grow capabilities
- Shape headcount planning with leadership and hiring managers
