What you will do

• Perform day-to-day information security functions including documentation of improvements and automation in DevSecOps.
• Deploy and manage app security stack products like security testing software, WAF, vulnerability management.
• Coordinate security issue remediation across scrum teams and act as point of contact for vulnerabilities.
• Maintain documentation of controls, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in incident response, security testing, penetration testing, and red teaming.
• Research and communicate latest security trends and threats; occasional after-hours work and travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in IT or equivalent + 5 years in software development with security focus, systems/software security testing, or security administration
• High proficiency in programming/scripting automations across languages/platforms, OWASP, web app vulnerabilities, proxies (Burp Suite/ZAP), end-to-end app testing (API, GraphQL, databases, Azure, Linux/Windows).
• Medium proficiency in providing security guidance to dev teams, implementing app security technologies, network/software architectures, WAF, runtime protection, static code analysis.
• Stable internet (50 down/10 up Mbps min), ability to join video meetings; US-based remote work
