Location: Hybrid: Must report to Sunnyvale, CA three times per week at minimum

What you will do

• Own the full software development lifecycle for GM Commercial mobile applications from requirements to maintenance.
• Design and evolve mobile architecture and patterns (Android/iOS) to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop high-quality, reusable Kotlin and Swift code for fleet management products.
• Integrate mobile applications with microservices-based backends and RESTful APIs.
• Mentor other developers and lead architecture, requirements, design, and code reviews.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android and/or iOS mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and/or Swift.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and mobile security best practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Bitrise, CircleCI, GitHub Actions) and RESTful APIs.
• Must be based in the US; no immigration sponsorship is provided (H-1B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bluetooth (BLE) and Maps SDKs (Google Maps, Apple Maps).
• Background in connected vehicles, telematics, fleet management, or logistics.
• Experience working in large-scale, cloud-based environments.
