TL;DR

Manager Messaging, Cloud, and Data Security I (DLP): Leading the organization’s data protection strategy with a primary focus on preventing unauthorized data exfiltration, leakage, and misuse across endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, and user activities. Focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing DLP capabilities, managing incidents, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Location: Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided for temporary visas (E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN).

What you will do

  • Define and execute enterprise DLP strategy and roadmap across endpoint, network, email, and cloud environments.
  • Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of DLP technologies; develop policies, rules, and detection logic for sensitive data.
  • Lead DLP monitoring in SOC, investigations into data loss incidents, insider threats, and coordinate response actions.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001); support audits and conduct risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with IT, Cloud, IAM, Legal, HR, and business units to integrate DLP and balance security with productivity.
  • Track KPIs (incidents, alert accuracy, MTTD/MTTR), report to leadership, and drive improvements via automation and analytics.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • 7–10+ years in Information Security, with 3–5 years focused on DLP, data protection, or insider threat programs.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise DLP tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint, Netskope).
  • Strong background in Security Operations, incident response, digital investigations; knowledge of cloud environments (Microsoft 365, AWS, GCP).
  • Hands-on with endpoint/network/email/cloud DLP, SIEM/SOAR integration, data classification, encryption, access controls.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication skills; willingness for 24/7 support or on-call.

Nice to have

  • CISSP, CRISC, GIAC (GCIA, GCED, GCFA), or data privacy certifications (CIPP, CIPM).
