What you will do

• Develop and execute communications strategies to elevate the brand across Australia and New Zealand.
• Craft messaging and talking points for major company announcements and milestones.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and influencers across the ANZ region.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, legal, research, and policy teams.
• Provide strategic communications counsel to senior stakeholders and manage communications risks.
• Oversee executive interviews, speaking engagements, and local agency relationships.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in communications, preferably in a senior in-house role at a high-growth tech company.
• Proven track record of driving proactive and reactive communications across Australia and New Zealand.
• Deep understanding of the political and regulatory landscape across the ANZ region.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Sydney office.
• Ability to translate complex technical language into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
