What you will do

• Develop and implement JavaScript web-based software to facilitate business solutions.
• Create and maintain high-quality, reusable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with mobile developers, QA, analysts, and product owners to implement functionality based on business requirements.
• Build applications on strong web architecture and solve complex software engineering problems.
• Develop extensible GraphQL and REST APIs and maintain highly available services.
• Address scalability and high availability challenges.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Node.js, Express, and modern frontend frameworks like React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML, Responsive CSS, and modern frontend concepts (AJAX, JSON, REST).
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• English: Fluent written and spoken proficiency is a must.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Rijeka or Zagreb, Croatia.

Nice to have

• Professional experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly Couchbase.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
