Legal Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: On-site in Almaty, Kazakhstan

What you will do

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from preparation and review through signature and completion.
• Prepare, review, edit, and organize contracts and legal documents under Kazakhstani law.
• Maintain contract databases, track statuses, deadlines, and obligations, and ensure proper archiving.
• Coordinate legal, marketing, creative, and operations stakeholders to keep processes moving.
• Build and improve legal workflows, including contract tracking and signature processes.
• Support trademark enforcement by identifying and addressing online infringement.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a paralegal, legal specialist, or legal operations specialist.
• Solid understanding of contract workflows and legal documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, persistence, and ability to manage parallel tasks.
• Ability to proactively follow up with stakeholders and drive processes to completion.
• Fluent Kazakh, Russian, and English.
• Experience with Kazakhstani legal documents is strongly preferred; a law degree is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience in a top-tier law, consulting, or accounting firm, preferably Ernst & Young, or in a strong in-house technology environment.
• Experience automating approval collection, reminders, and activity reports.
• Experience building AI agents.
• Experience with Ironclad contract management software.
