Staff Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid from Brno, Czech Republic. Candidates must be based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work there.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Verify and maintain fixed asset additions, registers, and monthly depreciation entries.
• Prepare supporting documents for local VAT and other tax filings.
• Prepare US GAAP adjustment entries and review purchase requests for proper GL coding.
• Handle cash payments and assist with annual audit requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team on special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of general ledger experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in the Czech Republic with valid work sponsorship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience working with multiple foreign currencies.
