What you will do
- Develop dealer and customer-facing booking and tracking portals.
- Build and optimize carrier-facing workflows for pricing, documentation, and negotiation.
- Create internal tools for route planning and administrative operations.
- Fix production issues to improve system reliability and reduce manual operational effort.
- Implement and tighten security controls, including roles, permissions, and data access.
- Integrate AI-assisted development and agentic engineering into the daily workflow.
Requirements
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals for both backend scripts and browser-based code.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically Postgres, and safe schema evolution.
- Experience with backend platforms or BaaS (preferably Supabase).
- Ability to handle API integrations and debug background processes, including idempotency and retries.
- Ownership mindset with the ability to break down work and deliver incrementally.
- Openness to agentic engineering and active use of AI tools in daily development.
Nice to have
- Experience working with low-code/no-code systems alongside custom code.
- Exposure to geospatial, routing, or map-based products.
- Familiarity with serverless functions or lightweight backend services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployments.
