What you will do

• Build, maintain, and evolve Chrome extension using Manifest V3 standards.
• Develop content scripts, background/service workers, and extension messaging flows.
• Create clean, responsive UI components and interactions.
• Integrate with hirify.global’s automation engine, backend APIs, and AI capabilities.
• Optimize performance, security, and cross-site compatibility.
• Troubleshoot issues like injection, permissions, CORS, and DOM variability.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ship features and contribute to documentation and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years building Chrome extensions in production.
• Deep expertise in Chrome Extension APIs, service workers, content scripts, message passing, permissions.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Hands-on with React or similar UI frameworks.
• Understanding of browser security, CORS, storage, cross-origin communication.
• Experience with REST APIs, async data flows, debugging with Chrome DevTools.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven or automation platforms.
• Familiarity with authentication flows (OAuth, tokens) in extensions.
• Knowledge of DOM manipulation and script injection techniques.
• Startup or fast-paced product team experience.
