Location: Macquarie Park, NSW. Hybrid arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

What you will do

  • Act as the Line 1 risk business partner to the Consumer business, owning risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
  • Embed practical risk management into day-to-day operations with clear governance and accountability.
  • Lead consumer risk profiling and assessments aligned with enterprise risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
  • Oversee control effectiveness and drive timely remediation of gaps to improve customer outcomes.
  • Deliver executive-level risk insights and reporting to support informed decision making.
  • Chair key risk governance forums and champion a risk-based culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing consumer risk in a Line 1 environment.
  • Experience in a regulated, high-volume, customer-facing organization.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end customer lifecycle, including regulatory and vulnerable customer considerations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide credible challenge to executive leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex risk matters.
