Program Manager - Haiti

TL;DR

Program Manager (Haiti): Leads strategic and programmatic management of ongoing and emergency health projects with an accent on health systems strengthening, partnerships, and measurable impact. Focus on overseeing portfolio performance, improving health centers' capacity for equitable services, and advancing sustainable solutions in primary care, infectious diseases, NCDs, maternal health, and medicine security.

Location: Les Cayes, Haiti - mostly in-person with some remote work from home in Les Cayes. Must be legally authorized to fully work as a licensed doctor in Haiti at time of application. No visa or work-permit sponsorship.

What you will do

• Oversee Haiti programmatic portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, policies, and values.
• Improve health centers’ capacity in equitable access to quality health services, medical commodities, workforce, and infrastructure.
• Develop and enhance health protocols, monitor performance, and address operational challenges.
• Build relationships with donors, government, NGOs, UN agencies, and stakeholders for program support and emergency responses.
• Lead results tracking, needs assessments, field visits, reporting, and continuous program improvement.
• Ensure compliance, ethical stewardship, and best practices in all programming.

Requirements

• Licensed doctor in good standing to practice medicine in Haiti.
• Fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
• Partnership experience with NGOs, government health systems, and clinics.
• Technical expertise in primary care, infectious disease, NCDs, maternal health, WASH, and/or medicine security.
• Demonstrated excellence in programmatic leadership, strategy, execution, KPIs, M&E, and safe programming.
• Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, ethical leadership, and ability to travel extensively within Haiti.
• Technology skills in Microsoft 365.

Nice to have

• MPH or advanced health degree.
• Intermediate to advanced Spanish.
