Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage a global team of SREs, providing coaching, mentorship, and driving operational excellence.
• Own the monitoring strategy, creating dashboards and alerting to maintain service health and performance.
• Lead infrastructure capacity planning and headroom management to ensure effective scaling.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to negotiate and manage error budgets, SLOs, and SLIs.
• Standardize logging practices, observability, and documentation across the organization.
• Drive the eradication of toil through automation and lead incident management, including post-mortems.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Proficiency in Python-based service development, Linux administration, and CI/CD.
• Experience with data flows using Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Ability to write and execute automated tests.
• Proven experience managing software projects from ideation through deployment and operations.
• Must be based in Austin Metro or Charlotte Metro (excluding South Carolina).
