What you will do

• Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and other IaC tooling.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies, architectural guardrails, and cost management.
• Build observability and monitoring solutions to improve system reliability and incident response.
• Mentor engineers on infrastructure best practices, cloud architecture, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles with deep AWS expertise.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Deep experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) and serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and management, preferably with GitLab.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud governance.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications.
• Experience working in a regulated industry and/or Financial Services.
