Pre-Si Systems Intern (Digital Design): Contributing to the functional logic verification of silicon designs to ensure compliance with architectural specifications with an accent on verification plans and test benches. Focus on simulation, emulation, and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve design defects.

Location: Hybrid in Guadalajara, Mexico. Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship).

What you will do

• Contribute to functional logic verification of silicon designs to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Support development of verification plans, test benches, and environments for full architectural coverage.
• Assist in simulation and emulation activities to validate functionality and analyze power/performance.
• Participate in debug and root-cause analysis to resolve design inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with architecture and design teams to ensure functional correctness.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ months of experience in Digital Design (Combinational, Synchronous, or Asynchronous).
• Experience with Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C, C++, Python, Perl, or Java).
• Advanced English level.
• Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of computer architectures and interfaces (USB, UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe).
• Experience with Linux OS.
