What you will do

• Design and iterate on multi-agent AI workflows for deal screening, due diligence, credit memos, and restructuring advisory.
• Write Python to integrate LLMs and orchestration tooling into Salt OS, connecting financial data sources.
• Prototype end-to-end client solutions for ingesting financial documents like 10-Ks, CIMs, and pitch decks.
• Collaborate with solutions engineers and the CBO to deliver prototypes against real client problems.
• Develop reusable workflow templates and technical assets for deployment across financial services engagements.

Requirements

• Experience building AI workflows using agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar).
• Proficiency in Python for building integrations and data pipelines.
• Background in investment banking, financial advisory, or asset management (via internship, coursework, or projects).
• Solid grasp of financial fundamentals including financial statements, valuation, and capital markets.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, CS, or Data Science (junior or senior standing preferred).
• Must be based in Los Angeles, CA

Nice to have

• Experience with frontier model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with financial data platforms like Bloomberg, CapIQ, Pitchbook, or Refinitiv.
• Experience building RAG pipelines or knowledge retrieval systems over documents.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience integrating AI systems with external tools via APIs (Zapier, Make, n8n).
