What you will do

• Own and lead the content pipeline, directing designers and live ops in crafting player experiences.
• Guide teams through creative processes to meet game vision, player needs, and product goals.
• Mentor designers in systems and economy design to elevate standards.
• Foster high-performance culture through leadership and team development.
• Shape design processes and collaborate cross-functionally to advance the 4X genre.
• Evaluate performance with data, feedback, and playtests; design for long-term extensibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years game design leadership experience.
• Proven F2P systems design and progression modeling.
• 8+ years designing systems/economies for live F2P games (MMO, 4X, strategy preferred).
• Deep mastery of complex F2P game economies.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience across game design: concept, progression, interface, monetization, retention; KPI translation to design.

Nice to have

• Deep 4X genre knowledge, especially F2P 4X.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or simulation tools.
• Love for Star Trek, sci-fi, or strategic social games.
• Experience with alliance or co-op systems.
