What you will do

• Select optimal manufacturing partners for RFQs based on performance data, capabilities, and capacity.
• Manage quote-to-order process: issue RFQs, review and negotiate quotes, confirm technical fit, place orders.
• Track orders through delivery, escalate issues, coordinate with internal teams on quality and logistics.
• Act as account manager for regional partners: conduct check-ins, reviews, on-site visits.
• Negotiate commercial terms with repeat partners and optimize RFQ fan-out ratio.
• Share capability insights with team and maintain internal tools and records.

Requirements

• Based in Estonia and available for hybrid work with regular partner visits across Baltics & Scandinavia.
• Solid mechanical engineering knowledge: read drawings, understand tolerances, materials, spot quote mismatches.
• Commercial experience negotiating price, lead times, terms with suppliers.
• Experience building and holding accountable long-term supplier relationships with focus on KPIs like OTEF, response rate, quality.
• Fast-paced operational mindset with practical decision-making and ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience at contract manufacturer, fabrication shop, or metal service provider.
• Hands-on with hirify.global processes: laser cutting, bending, CNC machining, welding, surface treatment, assembly.
• Background in technical sourcing, project management, or engineering in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, supplier auditing.
• Scale-up, marketplace, or digital manufacturing platform experience.
