TL;DR

Corporate Finance Analyst (M&A): Work on M&A deal origination and execution for hirify.global’s clients in food and agriculture industries globally, with focus on Americas and cross-border transactions. Location: Hybrid in New York (US)

Salary: $95,000 - $135,000

What you will do

  • Participate in preparation of marketing materials, pitching materials, and identification of M&A ideas.
  • Analyze companies using financial modeling, valuation techniques, M&A modeling, and leveraged buyout modeling.
  • Play active role in project and due diligence management.
  • Support senior bankers on M&A deal origination and sector coverage responsibilities.
  • Contribute to team-building, on-the-job training for juniors, and recruiting efforts.
  • Work cooperatively with senior team members, clients, and stakeholders, taking initiative for efficient processes.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in financial services (banks, accounting firms, ratings agencies)
  • Undergraduate degree with concentration in finance or related studies.
  • Good understanding of transaction cycles and M&A product.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good proficiency in financial analysis and computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively.
