What you will do

• Visualize photoreal human and creature characters: anatomy, facial likeness, costumes, gear, aging, damage, and material responses to light.
• Produce turnarounds, expression sheets, lighting keys, and material swatches technically suitable for modelers and texture artists.
• Partner with Art Director to define silhouette language, color palettes, and cultural authenticity for factions.
• Iterate rapidly in 2D to validate forms under real-world lighting scenarios.

Requirements

• 4+ years in games, film, or VFX creating shipped photoreal character concept art
• Portfolio showing accurate facial likeness, emotional range, human/animal anatomy, proportion, aging, skin subsurface, fabric, metal, weathering.
• Ability to match real-world camera lenses and lighting.
• Fluency in Photoshop.
• Excellent visual communication skills.
• Self-driven, open to critique, thrive in fully remote, timezone-distributed team
