TL;DR

Maximo Consultant I (IBM Maximo): Align business and IT requirements into best-practice processes and functional specifications for Enterprise Asset Management systems with an accent on system configuration, client workshops, and technical delivery. Focus on assessing asset management processes, translating requirements into Maximo solutions, and supporting data coordination, testing, deployment, and training.

Location: Madrid, Spain or Spain (Hybrid, Remote), 20% travel expected

What you will do

• Assess client Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, and Purchasing processes and KPIs
• Configure systems including workflows, domains, and escalations
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into Maximo solutions
• Facilitate workshops, create documentation and training materials, educate on best practices
• Support technical delivery: data coordination, testing, deployment, issue tracking
• Assist with client training, demonstrations, internal improvements, and pre-sales

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Information Management, or Computer Science
• 2-3 years experience in IBM Maximo projects, Maximo 7.6, ideally MAS 8.x/9.x
• Knowledge of Maximo security, users, access control
• Experience in EAM, Service Management, or Facility Management
• SQL and database management (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
• Business level Spanish – written & spoken
• Familiarity with SDLC, client-facing experience

Nice to have

• IBM Maximo 7.6 or MAS certifications
