What you will do

• Analyze requirements and implement new features.
• Perform bug fixing, development testing, and code reviews.
• Architect and re-architect code and projects.
• Collaborate with local and remote teams (Japan, UK, US).
• Research APIs, tools, and features; manage sprint tasks using version control.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software experience; 4+ years native Android app development.
• Java and Kotlin experience.
• Android NDK and Java Native Interface (JNI).
• Android Studio, Gradle, software design principles and patterns.
• Version control (SVN, Git), 3rd party libraries/SDK, web service APIs.
• Good written and verbal communication; self-motivation.

Nice to have

• C++, Python.
• Ubuntu, Material Design, automated testing.
• Build systems (CMake, SCons), Jira, Confluence, CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Firebase, Google Analytics, app localization, asset tools (Figma, Zeplin).
