What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations and basic upkeep of the Tokyo device performance lab and its equipment.
• Execute daily test plans across Smart TVs, Set-Top Boxes, mobile devices, and tablets.
• Simulate real customer journeys, including app launch, login, live stream viewing, and VOD playback.
• Identify, log, and track performance drops and visual defects using Jira and Confluence.
• Compile and share daily performance health summaries with the engineering team.
• Provide heightened monitoring and pre-match checks during the FIFA World Cup.

Requirements

• Basic familiarity with consumer electronics and comfort learning new software tools.
• Meticulous approach to following test scripts and reporting.
• Working proficiency in both English and Japanese for menu navigation and reporting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, live broadcasting environment.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan for onsite work.
