TL;DR

Software Engineer (Reporting, Statistics and Automation): Designing and developing automated reporting tools, statistical dashboards, and data pipelines with an accent on data quality assurance, process automation, and AI integration. Location: Based in or near Bucharest, Romania, with ability to work in a hybrid or remote setup. Open to occasional travel for workshops and meetings. Flexible hours to support global cycles.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and enhance automated reporting tools and statistical dashboards for enterprise data insights.
  • Own data quality assurance, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with data analytics, operations, and engineering teams to optimize workflows.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation for data collection, transformation, and visualization pipelines.
  • Identify improvements in reporting, automation, and data infrastructure.
  • Assess and apply AI solutions responsibly to enhance automation, data quality, and processes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization (Qlik, Power BI) in production.
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting frameworks, data pipelines, and automation tools.
  • Strong software development principles: version control, automated testing, CI/CD.
  • Experience developing and scaling automated reporting systems and relational databases.
  • Fluent English for communicating technical ideas.
  • Collaborative mindset and proactive problem-solving.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Computer Science or Statistics.
  • Certifications in data engineering and automation.
  • Experience with international teams or ETL tools.
  • Hands-on with AI-assisted tools for analysis and automation.
