TL;DR

Regulatory Product Compliance Expert (Automotive): Lead International Type Approval (ITA) processes for hirify.global Connected Car products to meet country-specific regulatory requirements. Focus on preparing documentation, aligning specifications, coordinating with labs and teams, and managing stakeholder interfaces for timely certifications.

Location: Bucharest, Romania (WFH, Hybrid or Office via hirify.global Flex)

What you will do

  • Lead and manage ITA processes ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain certification documentation.
  • Align ITA, hirify.global, and customer requirements into test specifications.
  • Coordinate with testing labs, local representatives, and internal engineering teams.
  • Act as technical interface for certification stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Technical background in cellular, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and automotive requirements.
  • Practical experience with regulatory or ITA certification processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing internal and external partners.
  • Experience in technology or automotive industry; proactive, organized, detail-oriented with analytical thinking.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years in ITA certification or similar.
  • Knowledge of inter-process communication.
  • Strong English skills (written and verbal).
  • Availability for occasional international travel.
