General Ledger Team Lead

What you will do

• Lead a team of 10-15 (Senior) Accountants to deliver GL services to customers.
• Manage team operations, capacity planning, hiring, and workload monitoring.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer, post-go-live stabilization, and change management.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, periodical closings, journal entries, reconciliations, and bank issues.
• Manage asset accounting activities including master data, acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Support performance monitoring against SLAs and establish department KPIs.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in accounting or business.
• Very good verbal and written English (German advantage).
• Experience with multiple legal entities.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring people.
• Solid ERP (SAP) experience; consolidation tools like HFM; Navision advantage.
• Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office, process automation, and optimization.
