TL;DR

Payments Operations Associate (Fintech): Assist with day-to-day operational processes in the Payments team, managing investment processing, settlement payments, FX payments, cash management, and resolving cash or stock breaks. Focus on maintaining high execution standards, meeting SLAs and KPIs, detecting and escalating issues, and driving process improvements for scalability.

Location: You are based in Budapest, hybrid model (3 days in-office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday, 2 days from home Wednesday/Friday).

Gross Base Salary HUF 550K – HUF 700K per month

What you will do

  • Develop deep understanding of payment processes and their impact on operations and clients.
  • Execute and document daily tasks like investment processing, settlement/FX payments, cash management, and reconciliation issue resolution.
  • Meet individual SLAs and KPIs to support team performance and service standards.
  • Detect, escalate domain issues to stakeholders timely.
  • Drive process and tool improvements collaborating with team and cross-functional partners for scalability.

Requirements

  • Based in Budapest.
  • Excellent written and verbal English for communication with stakeholders and banking partners.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, meticulous in task execution.
  • Strong interest in brokerage environment (Payments Operations experience or related degree/studies a plus).
  • Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environment, contributing ideas and collaborating.
  • Driven to take challenges, ownership, and make impact.
