Location: Tokyo, Japan. Hybrid with up to 40% remote work per month; core office hours 10:00–15:00 when onsite.

What you will do

• Support monthly closing activities, accounting operations, and financial reporting compliance.
• Analyze financial performance, budget vs. actuals, and support decision-making across sales, marketing, and operations.
• Conduct financial analysis, ROI evaluations, and due diligence for investments and business initiatives.
• Contribute to business planning, forecasting, and revised estimates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand overall business dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong Japanese and English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in finance's role in business decisions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
