What you will do

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with Japanese accounting standards.
• Reconcile exchange accounts, bank accounts, and crypto wallets to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Manage accounting and reporting for cryptocurrency transactions and assets per regulatory guidelines.
• Develop internal controls to safeguard assets and assist with internal and external audits.
• Provide financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue optimization.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese financial regulations (FSA) and handle corporate and consumption tax filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong communication skills in English and Japanese (verbal and written).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in fast-paced environments.
• Must be based in Japan to handle local regulatory and tax compliance.
