What you will do

• Design and develop novel validation techniques and algorithms for the ESX operating system that manages virtual and real hardware.
• Implement advanced test strategies and coverage for ESX vmkernel and userspace features.
• Architect and deliver test coverage for new products based on the enterprise-class VCF virtualization platform.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and performance.
• Own and lead larger parts of ESX Core Platform validation projects.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of industry experience, or MS degree with 6+ years.
• Deep understanding of kernel-level memory scheduling, management, and reclamation.
• Broad experience with hypervisors (ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM, XEN) and kernel-level OS architectures (Linux, Unix, BSD).
• Extensive experience in test and automation development for low-level OS components.
• Proficiency in Python and C programming, and knowledge of Intel x86/server architecture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
