TL;DR

IT Associate: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end-users across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, network infrastructure, and telephony systems with an accent on troubleshooting incidents, administering user access, and maintaining IT operations. Focus on restoring services quickly, ensuring security compliance, monitoring backups, and coordinating with vendors for reliable workplace technology.

Location: Cairo, Egypt (based in Cairo office). Flexibility in working hours and travel required.

What you will do

• Deliver Level 1/2 support for onsite and remote users, including hardware setup, software troubleshooting, and peripherals.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environment: manage users, mailboxes, groups, licenses, and resolve issues in Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, configure switches, wireless points, basic firewalls, and ensure network security.
• Support IP PBX telephony: configure extensions, IVR, call routing, and troubleshoot VoIP connectivity.
• Handle backups, patch management, IT asset inventory, vendor coordination, and procurement assistance.
• Identify recurring issues, propose improvements, and report adverse events per client requirements.

Requirements

• Native level English (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Digital or 3-5 years experience in IT service desk with high-volume request handling.
• Strong Microsoft 365/Office administration and Azure/Entra ID knowledge.
• Experience with operating systems, business applications, network basics, and telephony.
• Complete pharmacovigilance/pharma training and report safety data as required.
• Based in Cairo office; flexibility for travel and hours essential.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Arabic fluency.
• HubSpot or Power BI experience.
