What you will do

• Provide expert-level on-site photography and videography for an average of seven events per week.
• Manage the full production lifecycle, including outlining, scripting, filming, and expert-level editing.
• Create diverse multimedia assets such as event recaps, promo videos, social media content, and animated gifs.
• Develop and conduct training modules and process guides for photography and video production.
• Interview various subjects, ranging from students to high-profile government officials and celebrities.
• Ensure all video content is captioned and fully 508 compliant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in video production and photography.
• Expert proficiency with professional digital photography and videography equipment and current techniques.
• Ability to handle high-turnaround environments with same-day or next-day delivery requirements.
• Location: Must be based in Washington, D.C.
• Stay informed on foreign policy issues and current events.

Nice to have

• Experience creating original animations and social media sharable text graphics.
• Ability to integrate content from multiple sources for complex post-production.
