AML Analyst (iGaming)

TL;DR

AML Analyst (iGaming): Conducting detailed investigations into suspicious financial activities and reviewing source of wealth/funds to ensure regulatory compliance with an accent on risk mitigation and high-risk customer due diligence. Focus on performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), filing SARs/STRs, and monitoring PEP and Sanctions lists.

Location: On-site in St Julian’s, Malta. Relocation support is provided.

What you will do

• Drive AML investigations and review Source of Wealth (SoW) and Source of Funds (SoF) documents.
• Apply the 4-eye principle to key AML procedures for accuracy and risk control.
• Perform PEP and Sanctions monitoring and investigate suspicious accounts.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk customers.
• Compile and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to authorities.
• Promote a compliance-first culture by guiding colleagues and customers on AML/KYC best practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in an AML role, preferably in iGaming.
• Higher secondary education or above.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Strong understanding of AML regulations and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to work on a shift basis (alternating weekly schedules and alternating weekends).
