Location: Hybrid (Birkirkara, Malta) — 3 days office / 2 days home

What you will do

• Conduct end-to-end onboarding of B2B clients, verifying KYC and corporate documentation.
• Perform screening checks including sanctions, PEP, and adverse media.
• Carry out periodic reviews of existing clients based on risk classification.
• Support corporate due diligence and integrity checks for partners, banks, and regulators.
• Maintain AML registers, tracking tools, and internal compliance databases.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to facilitate timely onboarding while maintaining compliance standards.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in AML, compliance, or due diligence in a regulated B2B or financial services environment.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Birkirkara, Malta for hybrid office attendance.
• Solid working knowledge of AML/CFT legislation, KYC, CDD, and EDD requirements.
• Experience with sanctions and PEP screening tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Degree in law, compliance, or finance is advantageous.

Nice to have

• AML certification (ICA or ACAMS).
• Familiarity with compliance management or case tracking systems.
