What you will do

• Lead and mentor the mobile platform team, prioritizing initiatives that enable product teams to operate more efficiently.
• Define and uphold engineering standards for mobile security, observability, performance, and resilience.
• Drive significant improvements to CI/CD pipelines, build reliability, and deployment workflows.
• Develop and maintain shared platform capabilities using React Native, TypeScript, and native modules (Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, Java).
• Own mobile platform-level observability and crash reporting tooling for production stability.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to evolve shared UI components and the mobile design system.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in mobile engineering, including time as a Tech Lead, Staff, or Principal Engineer.
• 4+ years of production experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• 4+ years of experience with native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or Java).
• Proven expertise in owning and improving CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• 1+ year of experience leading a mobile platform team with responsibility for technical direction.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, including React Native bridges and native modules.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or regulated product environments.
• Deep expertise in native mobile development beyond basic integration.
• Experience evaluating or migrating to Expo.
• Exposure to shared platform components and reusable mobile UI libraries.
• Knowledge of secure mobile development practices.
