What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across hirify.global’s engineering teams.
  • Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Collaborate with engineers company-wide to build new features at large scale.
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
  • Work with business, sales, and operations teams to solve users’ pain points.

Requirements

  • Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience with a functional programming language (Elixir/Erlang preferred).
  • Experience working with relational databases at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
  • Understanding of challenges in concurrent and distributed programming.
  • Experience with databases/key-value stores such as ETS, Mnesia, Cassandra, and Redis.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Prometheus, or RabbitMQ.
